It looks like the Nor'Easter has ended. Accumulation here, a few miles west of Boston, was about 16 inches -- say, 40cm. My back is stiff, but not in major pain, thanks to the snowblower. I took it in two passes, one about noon and once just now.

Weather should be cold but sunny for a few days, then it warms up again. You get four full seasons in Boston, but sometimes they come around two or three times apiece.

I'm no longer (very) sick -- just a few snuffles. That means I'll physically go to work tomorrow, after not being in for almost a week. I wonder if I'll recognize the place? I'm glad we hired my minion, Mason -- he's both reliable and smart.

I need some sort of celebration. Perhaps metahacker's Ph.D. presentation will serve.
