Actually, a screenplay for a proposed television series: _All Possible Worlds_, Daniel Keys Moran.
It's SF. It involves time travel and changing history. There are at least three factions, one of which is unknown to the other two. It is entirely too intelligent to be produced on network television. There is about as much introduced and left unexplained, in an interesting manner, as there was in the entire first season of The X-Files.
