It is 3:10 or so in the afternoon. I expressed interest in making dinner. Now I am committed to roasting a turkey, mashing potatoes, making stuffing, finding some vegetables, and probably making apple pies.

We've clearly been watching too much Dinner:Impossible.

Dinner Insanity.

It is not quite 7PM. We're about to sit down.

14 lb turkey takes about 1:45 in the roaster oven.
Mashies, green beans sauteed with onions, stuffing, gravy, two pies -- one blueberry, one apple. Acorn squash, but I had little to do with that except cutting them and later on reminding Elizabear that microwaving them works quickly -- a factoid I had picked up from my mother on the phone about an hour previously.
