Tired? Cranky? Have a headache?
Apr. 25th, 2009 07:10 pmIf you are tired, cranky, and have a headache, you are probably dehydrated. When the weather changes faster than any sane person has a right to expect anywhere except New England*, your body is unlikely to adjust immediately.
Go drink some water.
When it stops tasting good, try a slightly flavored water -- a little orange juice mixed in, or Gatorade, or whatever. Not caffeinated.
When that stops tasting good, you're probably back up to normal hydration levels. Repeat after the next time you use the facilities.
(For folks not in New England: the weather has been creeping towards pleasant (15-18C) for the last week, up from quite cool... and then today we get 90F, 32C. Surprise!)
