Got a flu shot after searching three places. (http://flu.masspro.org for locals).

Remember that we had snow unusually early? 72F and sunny today.

Feeling healthy again, mostly.

Way behind on book log.

Translating from http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/networking/?p=2123 which is ostensibly a pro-Windows 7 column.

1. If it doesn't work, well, Windows XP is still there for you!

2. Comes with gaping security hole (back door access) pre-installed!

3. Microsoft destroys another add-on software industry by integrating backup software. Remember, if you produce software for Microsoft products that every user needs, Microsoft will eventually release a zero-cost alternative to drive you out of business!

4. Better virtual machine support so you can run the OS you really wanted to run!

5. Easy copying of data back and forth to virtual machines, where you can get work done.

6. Now with optional encryption on removable drives. (I don't have anything snarky to say about this, assuming they implemented it well, which they might or might not have done.)

7. Free download of command-line interface to make it look more like UNIX now included automatically.

8. Easier menu editing so you can make your Start button even more confusing.

9. Symbolic link directory farms now called Libraries, which are completely different from program libraries, music libraries and book libraries.

10. It's new and shiny! More Mac-like than ever before!
