The male closest to the client is untrustworthy, again. There is no payday for the PI. He doesn't kill anyone. The plot is Twisty McTwisterson of the Clan Twisted; the most plausible suspect shifts a significant number of times. Obviously related events are not, and obviously unrelated events are. Very odd: no character development. Curiously unsatisfying.
