The New York Times: More Usable Than At Any Time in the Last Few Years

Today the NYTimes paywall went up.

I went to visit it with cookies turned off.

Everything is fast (could be lack of traffic caused by the paywall) and nothing is bugging me to log in (lack of cookies, I expect).

I went through thirty or so articles, zip zip zip.

Books

_I Don't Want To Kill You_, Dan Wells

Horror. Serial killer demons. A hero who knows he would be a serial killer if he wasn't very tightly controlled. An author who respects the reader not to say explicitly a point that he made extremely clear. A tiny ray of hope in the darkness.

A worthy end to a trilogy, but what author could refuse committing series at that point?
