And a new citrus fruit tasted
Dec. 9th, 2011 03:42 pmCurrently known to be left on my list of citrus fruits to taste: pomelo, Buddha's Hand, and yuzu. I've had yuzu marmalade.
Today CostCo had bags of green citrus called "Sweeties", or oroblancos. Apparently they are a newish crossbreed between pomelo and white grapefruit.

They taste like a sweet cross of lime, lemon, and orange with some grapefruit notes.
So far I haven't met a citrus fruit I don't like. Current favorite: the Cara Cara, a red navel orange mutation that tastes like most oranges smell.
