I recommend the experience of being a stranger in a strange land: where you don't speak the language, yet the signs are sometimes translated, sometimes not, and many words are cognate. As long as you know how to escape, that is.
Zoo Granby: it's a pretty good zoo. Not National Zoo good, probably not San Diego Zoo good, but not bad. It comes attached to a water park that has an excellent wave pool (working) and an astounding wave pool (currently closed for lack of lifeguards). If being tossed around by waves is your thing, here you go.
