This book should have appealed to me. The thesis is simple: Sherlock Holmes is replaced by Warlock Holmes, who is assisted in appearing normal by Dr. Watson. The sentences are competently written.
The characters, though, are terrible. The plot... doesn't really exist. The humor consists of three kinds of jokes, repeated. It did not work for me, at all.
