Sequel to The Quantum Magician, which is all about a heist.
Physics warning: consciousness is treated as both a fully physical process arising in complex systems and also a special superposition collapse inducer.
Suffers from middle book syndrome: you are expected to know who all these people are and how they are related to each other and what happened in book one, and an awful lot of stuff happens, but the whole book can be summarized in one paragraph in a history book.
As read as part of the sequence, though, I think it's quite good.
