That went better than expected.
May. 8th, 2013 10:10 amI have a hefty laptop that I'm running some tests on. It's big, fast, not all that heavy for a thing with a 17" screen... so it has abysmal battery life. All right.
I let it go to sleep last night on about 16% charge. This morning I woke it up, started typing in my password, and watched it die beneath my fingertips.
Well, all right. I got out the charger, plugged it in, turned it on.
It woke up from hibernation with my password half-typed in.
Yay Debian.

Sigh. I work for a Microsoft-mostly shop. I like it, but I miss better software. :-)
