dsrtaoHas anyone written a fantasy in which female witches gain power at menarche, after giving birth, and at menopause? And/or male witches gain power at puberty, fatherhood and, i dunno, going gray or bald?
Variations might include changing powers at each stage, or perhaps powers starting at birth being linked to non-typical sexuality.
