I believe Eliz used to know Salus, and TAL co-authored a paper with Ringel.

I used to know (Peter *H*) Salus also. _How_ we knew each other is a subject for a lot more time and a lot more beer.

While I independently know that the middle initial is an H., it not only escaped my typo-sniffer, but also that of TAL, who I cut-n-pasted from :)

I used to work with PHS, and he hired my then-hubby because he didn't want to hire me away from his own friend, BZS.

It was very weird to hear lines drawn to you in parallel from jducoeur and PHS.
