Rambo doesn't have a first name. He's just hitchhiking through Kentucky when a local police chief decides to hassle him. The chief is recently divorced, is an authoritarian, has relationships based in abuse.
Rambo was trained by the army to kill the Vietnamese army. He was awarded the medal of honor. He has severe PTSD and no coping skills.
Naturally they destroy the town. Both die, because neither one knew how to back down.
