For the majority of USAns and Canadians, Daylight Saving Time went into effect in the small hours of the morning. At 2:00 AM, it became 3:00 AM.

Check clocks, computers, watches, PDAs, VCRs, et cetera and others and so on and so forth.

Apparently there are a number of "smart" devices which have hardwired algorithms for things like daylight savings time and thus didn't get the memo about the new dates. There is no way to correct them.

This may become a bigger problem as more devices have embedded OS.

I can't get my TV or VCR to set themselves automatically, I assume that the local PBS station is no longer sending out the time sync signal. I also can't figure out how to reset the cell phone, or even if I'm supposed to be able to. I hate icons...

My radio synced wall clock worked fine, so at least I have a single device which always has the correct time.

I believe that PBS stations are still sending ot the synch, but at our house, we turn off the automatic synch on the TV because we get channels from more than one time zone.

My cell phone has not reset itself, but I think that it did last time -- possibly it hasn't polled for a time update recently. Ditto the radio synch clock, but sometimes it doesn't catch the signal.
