A Philip Jose Farmer hero in a plot by David Palmer, written by somebody who had heard two other people discussing E.E. Smith novels and thought that this space opera stuff was pretty neat. Physics by Warner Bros. All women, including the non-humans, played by Pam Grier.
What, you want to know what I thought of the book, too? I think it was recommended to me, but I don't know why. It ends with the deus ex machina foreshadowed by the title. Uninspiring.
