Involuntarily awake.

The downside of being a cyborg: mechanical failure can cause mental and physical damage.

In this case, the valve on my mask has started whistling erratically. Loudly, too. Enough to wake me up, among others.

The last time I had that trouble, it was because I was sleeping on my side, and the mask was getting pushed against my pillow. I googled around and found a good suggestion: sleep with the mask sticking out over the edge of the pillow.

(I'm supposed to sleep on my back, but I can never get to sleep that way.)

Ah! Yeah, I don't think I've had that problem, then.

I've had two masks break on me, though, apparently because I had them too tight. When they're too loose, though, they whistle.

And then I have to poke him to get him to wake up and shift the darn thing. It's fun all around at 2am.
