I thought I was smart, but I was insufficiently cautious.

Most of the time, someone says the LJ equivalent of squee-fandom, and I think "yeah, that's your fandom".

But then I said to myself, "you clever boy, you know Dan reads a lot, and reviews well, and this was not a review - this was a recommendation".

So, I checked it out, and started reading. I did not remember to check the bylines.

Damn you - I can barely tear myself away. And here, I thought I was being clever and stuff.
