It's always really funny to me how they say "such-and such couple is now married" as if they weren't before. Same when someone joins a group or network or something that they were already obviously part of.
I just got a notification a week or so ago that Liam had joined the SCA. Did you know that? I was shocked!
Facebook has data, and claims to have truth. At best, a social network graph is a projection of the relationships in a real community.
