dsrtao_Ten Sigmas, and Other Unlikelihoods_, Paul Melko
A collection of short stories (one pretty long, and one novella) from the author of _Singularity's Ring_ and _The Walls of the Universe_, both of which I liked.
I suppose it's a good sampler of Melko: the first chapters of each of those novels are contained herein as standalone stories. There is also a later chapter from _Ring_ and a story that was excised from the finished novel.
The remainder of the stories range from meh to very good; overall, I liked it. Nothing stood out as superlative, but there's something to be said for competent storytelling, and that something is "thank you".
