If you are tired, cranky, and have a headache, you are probably dehydrated. When the weather changes faster than any sane person has a right to expect anywhere except New England*, your body is unlikely to adjust immediately.

Go drink some water.

When it stops tasting good, try a slightly flavored water -- a little orange juice mixed in, or Gatorade, or whatever. Not caffeinated.

When that stops tasting good, you're probably back up to normal hydration levels. Repeat after the next time you use the facilities.

(For folks not in New England: the weather has been creeping towards pleasant (15-18C) for the last week, up from quite cool... and then today we get 90F, 32C. Surprise!)

I use the Gatorade test. If it tastes good, I am dehydrated and drink it. If I'm not dehydrated, it's too sweet and too salty.

I also drink V-8, to replace electrolytes. If I don't replenish potassium, I wake up with leg cramps -- ow.

Yeah, potassium very important! I eat potatoes for potassium. (well, also because they are tasty...)

I find the Gatorade test only works for me with powdered Gatorade.
