Bad impression of the day

For several months, I've had dry, scaly skin on the back of my right hand and down several fingers. Thus, there's a bottle of skin moisturizer on my desk.

Today I came to work, probably too soon, partially in order to wave the flag and partially to not get completely behind the eight ball. I brought in a box of tissues, 'cause I'm sneezing a lot.

I think I'll move these two items away from each other now...

Have you had a doctor look at your scaly skin? My sweetie combats this daily, but the prescription stuff has helped eradicate the worst of it.

Not yet. Lowering my stress levels, occasional moisturizing, and frequent exposure to sunlight seem to have almost eradicated it.

Layman's diagnosis, especially because the sunlight helped: fungal. Get some of the cream sold for athlete's foot and give it a try.

My sweetie's case took about a year to resolve, even with the Rx cream, but yours sounds like you're conquering it, so should resolve soon.

I tried that early on, for about a week, and it didn't seem to help. If it starts to bother me again, I will see a doctor about it.
