Aug. 22nd, 2005 10:54 pm_Lady of Mazes_, Karl Schroeder. It took me four or five tries to figure out the first five pages or so; then I grokked what was going on and settled in. This is much better than his previous two novels (_Ventus_ and _Permanence_), both of which were pretty good.
