Perfect for shish kebab, but it needs marination.
Marinade:
In a big bowl, mix together:
soy sauce
honey
rice vinegar
olive oil
ginger (paste or smooshed)
garlic (smooshed)
sesame oil
pepper sauce of your choice (this batch is using a Datil pepper sauce which contains peppers, vinegar, and some tomatoes and sugar)
this is in approximate order of relative abundance. It should taste strong, complex and good. If it doesn't, figure out what it's lacking.
Marinate the meat in it for a day or two in the fridge.
We'll be grilling it with baby peppers, onions, mushrooms, mostly-cooked potatoes, and maybe some tomatoes.
