I've been on the Net for, erm, 16 years or so. Today is the first time I can legitimately claim "The lurkers support me in email!".

Nope. If it were a list I thought any LJ-friend was on, I would consider my above statement to be false... i.e. making the claim.
EK is not particularly bad, if you have no stake in the game (that they are playing, not the Society) and you treat it as disposable entertainment.
