Pulling wires through walls

dsrtaoTonight we finally joined the downstairs machine room to the upstairs machine room with an ethernet cable.
We had to do it twice, as the first cable was toasty. A little easier the second time. Yes, we tested the second cable before pulling it.
So. Djinn and Dragon and the TiVo are now wired. That leaves laptops on WiFi. Playing music from downstairs on a laptop will now involve one wireless hop instead of two -- that ought to improve matters a bit.
