Criminal Stupidity

On May 7th, someone (allegedly Robert Carney) robbed the Harvard Square branch of Citizen's Bank. He fled into the T station and hopped the next Red Line train, which stopped, backed up, and returned him to the waiting police officers.

Yesterday, five days later, someone (allegedly Barry Twomey) robbed the Harvard Square branch of Cambridge Trust Company. He fled into the T station and attempted to get into the next Red Line train, but the police arrested him before he could get onboard.

Is someone making some pocket money selling plans to the terminally bewildered?

Judging from twenty minutes spent sitting on a corner at Alewife this afternoon, the top three inconspicuous cars in Cambridge are:

- Subaru Outback
- Toyota Corolla
- any silver minivan
