I just ate the fruit of oppression, and it was tasty.

The fruit we eat is the product of the labor of millions of plants. Plants that we have modified, forcing their matings, culling their "less desirable" children, bred in row after row, forcing them to convert more and more of their own bodies into the sugars and starches we crave.

Then we rip out their unborn children and devour them. We pull them out of the earth, we mow them down with machines. We thresh and we sort. I won't even get into the processing.

That was a really nice orange. Now I feel guilty.

Ummm, I am only 36minutes south of you in latitude..

Down here in CT, we call it the Orange Revolution. :) In the end Orange Julius and his troops were defeated, what a sight it was to see Oranges crucified with twin straws every fifty feet for dozens of miles along Orange Boulevard. Orange Julius himself remained stalwart until he reached the Orange bowl and beheld the giant blender that awaited him. All we heard from him as his final words was a single high pitched whine.
