My singing annoys the cats

Well, it's not the singing so much as the vocal gymnastics which sometimes leap exuberantly from my throat.

But the cats don't like it.

When Sable was around, if I sang along with my CDs, he would come running into the room and yowl at me as long as I was singing. I was never sure whether it was supposed to be harmony (if so, he was failing badly) or criticism ("STOP THAT BLOODY RACKET! I WAS SLEEPING!").
