I've been at my current workplace about 15 months now. I like it.

A few minutes ago the office manager asked me about an IMAP problem that occasionally hit Outlook and never hit Thunderbird. I explained that the ways of implementing IMAP were mysterious, and I would need to expense-account a goat.

"To sacrifice?" he asked.

"Yes, but the next day we can have curry."

at least the OM understood what the goat was for, which is better than the OM looking at you, puzzled, even after you explained it was for sacrifice.
