In which the hardboiled PI goes up against crooked cops and South Central drug dealers. This is 4/4 on untrustworthy males affiliated with the client, and technically 2/4 on not getting paid, although I would like to call it 3/4 as the payment is on an installment plan stretching for over four years, amounting to less than a nice dinner per month.
Many people are killed. The PI continues to only kill people who are bad. Notable for the PI being arrested and charged with murder... ironically, for people he did not kill.
