116. The Skylark of Space, E.E. Smith
Reread from a long time ago.
The book doesn't age well. Casual sexism and racism; thin characterization; a plot which can be summed up as "An accidental discovery that effectively turns copper into anticopper brings FTL, repulsors, tractor beams, and super-explosive bullets to two super-scientists, the women who love them, and a supervillain with an honor code. Hijinks ensue."
