Regrettably, you and I seem to have slept symmetrically last night. I had trouble dropping off, then was awake and restless from about 4-5:30.

Your consecutive hours of sleep may well increase the longer you have been on the machine.

I have done five hours in a row, and, I think, six on a couple of occasions.

He normally does 6 or even 7. What he didn't mention was that his cell went off three times during the night with work emergencies, causing him to have to get up and go to the computer room to check and/or fix things. After the 3rd one, he couldn't get back to sleep.
