Followup to annual tirade #422

I asked the salescritter who provoked my tirade about the email disclaimer [say it with me: stupid!] at the bottom of his message.

An excerpt from his response:

Might be hard to make it stick on court, but that's just my opinion and does not necessarily represent the opinion of $COMPANY.

OK< so some salescritters just make themselves easy targets. How can you *not* pick on them, when they seem to really want it so much?

To me that translates as "I think it is stupid too, but I don't set the policy and I want to keep my job so I use it."
