I read that a particular game has a 32 page condensed summary of the core rules available for free.

It occurs to me, distantly and abstractly, that a non-gamer would be horrified.

The general form, which I would be surprised if you did not recognize, is
You Know You something Too Long When something else.

You Know You Have Been In The SCA Too Long When
You Know You Have Been Hacking Too Long When

In this case, which I made up: You Know You Have Been Doing This Too Long When This Makes Sense To You.

Ah-ha. Got it. Mine's at least an interesting interpretation.

Yup, the presentation went swimmingly. The staff person monitoring it said it was quite well done, and extremely useful, even though I went over by a minute or two.

The big question is, can I capitalize on it enough to get a main-track presentation spot next year? Here's hoping!

So the game in question? GURPS? If not that means that there are mutliple such games with "condensed" rules summaries.

Not GURPS. One of the Heroes variants, I think. Just like GURPS, it's offered as a free PDF in the spirit of "we understand that you might not want to pay $30 just to see if you like our game; here, try this".
