This is cable not DSL right? How much do you pay?
My only options are DSL (which I have now and it's only about 700K+) through a local firm, AceDSL, Verizon DSL (I'm not sure they even offer this anymore), Verizon FIOS (with no ability to run a server) and the local cable company, which has a lousy reputation all around.

Lucky I don't try to watch movies...

As a curious fellow recent RCN adopter, what are your advanced cable troubles?

Mice's been working smoothly for a while now, but after adding the new 5.1 surround sound set to the mix, I've been trying out various wiring schemes to find the one that works best for different applications (and causes the least about of messing with the TV's HD settings).

Gotcha. I'm just using the RCN provided DVR-box so I'm not hitting those issues. I've thought about switching to a HD-Tivo though. Do they give you much of a price break on just getting the card instead of a full box?

The card alone is like $1.50/month.

The "no servers of any kind" policy was a dealbreaker for me...
