No, actually -- that's largely irrelevant. It's more about the sheer *fluffiness* of the religion in the series that is annoying. (Especially because it's the only severe weakness in a show I otherwise very much enjoyed...)

I concur in this case, but can't in the general case: B5 simply did too good a job of using religion appropriately. (IMO, of course.)
