hmmm...first DNA (i.e. Nicholas Bonhomme II) sailed to Quebec (Was it New France back then) and his son Nicholas Bonhomme III and the rest of the family were subsequently listed as "dit Baeupre' " and there is a theory that they helped build Beaupre' Cathedrale in Montreal, but that was all back in the 1600's, on the other hand, my grandmother might actually qualify, will ask my mother..."Nanny" spoke no English until entering the school system in Malone NY.

Wonder if Nanny could get citizenship, maybe I could get dual through her?

Just a fantasy, but cool nonetheless

My mother is getting dual citizenship with Ireland, as she can prove grandparents born in County Cork, although they emigrated and met in Syracuse, of all places!
