You're sure about the sugar? When I was up in Montreal for worldcon, all the Coke had “sucrose or glucose/fructose syrup” (I think that was the phrasing) as the sweetener.

I'm tasting this local Coke -- and I'm sure I can tell the difference. This is, if anything, closer to Pepsi than it is to the Canadian Coke I've had recently. Sweeter, slightly cloying, less citrus and cinnamon taste.

Part of me says, "destroy her filesystem, invalidate her accounts, spam her mailbox".

Another part of me, the part that grew up and actually controls my behavior, says "she usually brings in a Coke, it was probably an honest mistake, and you should stop drinking soda anyway, it's not good for you. If you really needed caffeine you could use the freakishly expensive espresso machine, or even get Stefan, the ex-barista who is now your coworker, to do it for you.

But while I was busy typing this, she came over with a new (local) Coke and apologized. So.

I noticed the non-corn-syrup labels up here, and thought the fuzz lasted a longer time than usual, but not until this thread did I realize it's due to the sugar! Duh. I've noted that in K(P) Coke^TM but forgot to generalize.

Also, hi! I keep reading/hearing your (dsrtao) name as Dr. Sato, which it obviously is not, but my brain can't process "dsrtao" into a name. Silly brain.

It's a handle, not a name. "dsr" at LJ is some guy who hasn't posted in six years, so I couldn't have that.
