My Canadian Coke. Made with sugar, not corn syrup.

It's on her desk, half-empty.

You think somehow this will make me happier? Destroy my illusions that I can tell the difference? What kind of monster are you?

I have not conducted a DBT and thus my conviction that I can differentiate and thus have a reliable preference is invalid.

Nevertheless I cling to it, irrationally.

I'm tasting this local Coke -- and I'm sure I can tell the difference. This is, if anything, closer to Pepsi than it is to the Canadian Coke I've had recently. Sweeter, slightly cloying, less citrus and cinnamon taste.
