Most of the time, my preferred toast is Jewish Rye, with caraway seeds. However, I am not an exclusivist, and I also enjoy good whole wheat toast, cinnamon raisin toast, sourdough toast, and challah toast. I will toast a brioche bun and add tuna salad; I like to toast tortilla chips because they taste better warm. Toasting a pita with the butter and garlic already on it produces a great crouton.
