Magnetic knife holders?

Anyone have opinions about magnetic knife holders? We have substantially exceeded the capacity of our block...

Anyone need a few free cheap knives? We have no use at all for some stamped blades...

I like some types and not others. The sort I like are the plain-bar type, with no "footing" for the knives to rest upon.

The sort I don't like are set into something that has a footing, and often an overhang at the top, often graduated/angled in outline, so you must put the short knives on one side and the long knives on the other side. This seems limiting to me. Plus, it is my impression (not verified) that ones with footings are less effective magnets than the plain bar types.
