Anyone have opinions about magnetic knife holders? We have substantially exceeded the capacity of our block...

Anyone need a few free cheap knives? We have no use at all for some stamped blades...

No around kids. Alex and I used one for years. They occasionally fail around cats or when dusty. I would wait until E is older. They don't do well with the vibrations of impacts. I tripped and fell. my arm hit the side of the Fridge we had it on. some knifes fell. It is important to realize just my arm hit the fridge. the rest of my landed on the floor.

The one my mother had would not release knives easily, and it was mounted on the wall above the counters, where even if knives fell, they wouldn't go far. A wall doesn't jiggle the way a fridge wall will; much more secure.
